Does ComplyMe Ltd have sufficient Professional Indemnity Insurance?

Yes, we have cover of £1 million for claims worldwide (excluding claims brought about in the United States of America and Canada).

Are ComplyMe Independent?

Yes, we are independently owned and receive no financial inducements from providers.

Are the employees of ComplyMe Ltd suitably qualified?

All staff are level four qualified as a minimum, (including qualifications such as LTC, ER1 and G60/AF3/AF8 to name but a few). They have extensive experience of all types of investment (including EIS/SEIS/VCT), pensions (including defined benefit), protection and trust planning. All staff continue to take exams and undertake relevant CPD to ensure they remain up to date.

How do the employees keep up to date with regulations, legislation and product news?

All staff keep up to date with regulatory publications and legislative changes. They regularly attend events held by the PFS and FCA any other events that will be of benefit and add value. ComplyMe also undertake CPD as we believe it is fundamental to ensuring our technical knowledge remains up to date.

Does ComplyMe offer updates in respect of changing legislation and regulation?

Yes, we can do this on a regular basis or per FCA publications/Government Legislation update. Each firm has different needs and we will identify the option most suitable to you. Please contact us to find out more.

Are you registered under with the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) under the Data Protection Act?

ComplyMe are registered with the ICO. We will hold in strict confidence any confidential information obtained from you in connection with our services, whether held electronically or otherwise. We may use and disclose the personal data provided by you in order that we may discharge the services agreed under our general services agreement. You have the right of access, under data protection legislation, to the data that we hold about you.

What about data security?

ComplyMe (ParaMe) take data security very seriously and once firms have engaged us to provide services, we will provide access to a secure online document storage centre. Giving you peace of mind that your company information/client data is being protected. You will be able to upload documents using a simple and secure process.
